Installation:

  1. Install vanadiumitic folder at /wp-content/themes/
  2. Activate Vanadiumitic Theme 1.0 by Padd Solutions (Note: Don’t worry if it might look disoriented at first, you need to activate the required plugins to fully utilize the theme.)

Activate the Required Plugins

Customizing Vanadiumitic Options:

  1. Go to Appearance > Vanadiumitic Options
    • General Settings
    • Page Tracker Settings
    • Social Networking Settings
    • Related Posts Settings
    • Page Navigation Settings
    • Custom Ads Settings
  2. Then Save Settings.

Additional Customization:

  • Setting the Featured Thumbnail:
    1. Go to the post
    2. At the bottom right part of the post page (below “Post Tags”) set the “Featured Image” (with at least width: 304px and height: 200px)
    3. Save or Update Post.
  • Setting the DropDown Menus:
    1. Go to Appearance > Menus
    2. Drag and drop the menus you want to appear in the main menu
    3. Save Menu.
  • Changing the Logo:
    1. Use the site-name.psd found at the /images folder.
    2. Edit it using your favorite graphics application.
    3. Save as site-name.png and upload it at the /wp-content/themes/vanadiumitic/images folder.
  • Changing the Talk Bubbles Icon:
    1. Use the bg-header-pad.psd found at the /images folder.
    2. Edit it using your favorite graphics application.
    3. Save as bg-header-pad.png and upload it at the /wp-content/themes/vanadiumitic/images folder.
  • Using FlickRSS:
    1. Go to FlickRSS settings
    2. Display: “6 – user”
    3. User ID: Manual.
    4. Save Settings.

Requirements:

  • WordPress 3.0+
  • Host server with PHP5+

    Featured images not showing up on my posts or pages. Why?

      First, download the latest version of the theme, then see to it that the image is present in Featured Image block.
