Installation:
- Install hydrogenize folder at /wp-content/themes/
- Activate Hydrogenize Theme 1.0 by Padd Solutions (Note: Don’t worry if it might look disoriented at first, you need to activate the required plugins to fully utilize the theme.)
Activate the Required Plugins
Customizing Hydrogenize Options:
- Go to Appearance > Hydrogenize Options
- General Settings
- Page Tracker Settings
- Social Networking Settings
- Related Posts Settings
- Page Navigation Settings
- Custom Ads Settings
- Then Save Settings.
Additional Customization:
- Changing the Logo:
- Use the site-name.psd found at the /schemes folder.
- Edit it using your favorite graphics application.
- Save as site-name.png and upload it at the /wp-content/themes/hydrogenize/schemes/color of scheme/images folder.
- Using FlickRSS:
- Go to FlickRSS settings
- Display: “6 – user”
- User ID: Manual.
- Save Settings.
- Updating the Thumbnail and Gallery Image:
- At the Thumbnail and Gallery Image below the post:
- Thumbnail Image URL: The URL of the image to be used as thumbnail.
- Gallery Image URL: The URL of the image to be used as image in a featured post/gallery.
- Update Post.

Hi, I tried to install it on my site and I found I could not change any of the Hydrogenize options from the admin interface. I had to go into the database and manually change them. I contacted Hostgator live support and they tried after logging in with my account and they were able to change the options. So it was weird that they could change the options but I couldn’t. They used IE7 and did as well. I then tried in Firefox and it worked fine so I will have to use FF now when i edit the site. Hope this infor helps….

Checking inside functions.php, there is no such function.
Do read the instruction in the post. You need to activate the required plugin. In that case, it’s – WordPress Popular Posts. That should work.

I upgraded to WP 3.x and needed to find a compliant theme. It was easy to set up and the directions were clear. – Thx!
If you want to use external images (from a different web server), you must add a /temp folder in the /wp-content/themes/hydrogenize/functions/thumb folder and give it 755 permissions.
Also, only certain websites are ‘allowed’. To allow more websites you will have to edit /wp-content/themes/hydrogenize/functions/thumb/thumb.php line 558. Currently it only allows you to add images from picasa, flickr, blogger, wordpress, and youtube.
This had me pulling out my hair, I hope this helps someone else.
Call to undefined function get_mostpopular() wp-content\themes\hydrogenize\sidebar.php on line 25 I have installed and activated the WordPress Popular Posts (2.5.2) and my WP version is 3.1.2
everything solved just by installing the WordPress Popular Posts 2.1.4 instead the 2.5.2
